- Deliverables depend on the scope but typically include user research findings, wireframes, high-fidelity Figma design files, interactive prototypes, design system components, and developer handoff documentation. Every engagement concludes with a structured handoff so your team can maintain and evolve the work independently.
- A focused usability study or concept exploration can be completed in 2-4 weeks. A full end-to-end product design engagement — from discovery through high-fidelity delivery — typically runs 8-16 weeks. We scope every engagement collaboratively based on your goals, timeline, and constraints.
- Our primary design tool is Figma, the industry standard for collaborative UI and UX design. All design deliverables are produced in Figma and shared with your team for ongoing use. For research and usability testing, we use a combination of moderated and unmoderated testing tools depending on the study design.
- We strongly recommend a research phase in every engagement because design decisions made without user insight are expensive to fix later. That said, we can work with existing research your team has already conducted. If you have solid user data, we can move directly into design. If you don't, we'll help you build that foundation first.
- Absolutely. Much of our work is experience modernization — taking a product that has grown complex or outdated and redesigning it for today's users and standards. We conduct usability audits, identify pain points, and design improvements that can be implemented incrementally without disrupting ongoing operations.
- We design with implementation in mind. Our handoff process includes annotated Figma files, component specifications, interaction documentation, and live review sessions with engineers. If you need us to stay engaged during development to QA design fidelity, we can do that too.
